We have a very special place for you in CLPCA. We have committees to join and positions of leadership to fill. So, once you've become a member, let us know where we can count on you to make a difference.

Peer Consulation Groups

We offer Peer Consultation Groups based on geographic convenience to you. No longer do you have to feel so isolated in your private practice! Now you can meet with other members of CLPCA to discuss problem clients, learn new skills, and explore new ways of conceptualizing your clients.

Ethics and Jurisprudence Workshops

Members are invited to attend our quarterly Ethics and Jurisprudence Workshops for a reduced fee. Continuing Education Units are awarded to assist you in building your professional portfolio.

Professional Development

Members are also able to attend additional professional development opportunities at each of our General Meetings. These, again, are at reduced fees to members and Continuing Education Units are available.

Finding Your Colleagues

On a quarterly basis, CLPCA hosts Networking Events for CLPCA Members and other mental health professionals. Location varies in an ongoing effort to meet and support counselors around the state.

Our Leadership

Our Board of Directors is made up of 12 counselors and counselors-in- training who meet on a monthly basis to provide the vision and direction for our division. If you have any questions, suggestions or interest in their positions, don’t hesitate to call.
